In this video, I am gonna show you how to locked/unlocked any Facebook profile.
Lock your Profile and protect your information
Locking your profile will protect your photos from those who are not in your friend list. Means, only your friends can see your photos.
Only your friends will be able to see your full profile picture. Others can see the small picture.
It will hide your posts from those who are not your friends on Facebook, that means all of your posts and photos will be friends only.
How to lock my Facebook profile
First of all, login into your Facebook account.
Visit https://mobile.facebook.com/help
You will see something like this:
you will see their blank box
just type how do locked profiles work?
then click here⇉
Read everything and click Lock Your Profile.
WoW! You have successfully locked your profile.
Now, your posts, photos, and profile picture are friends only!
Now I will tell you- how to unlock your locked profile?
What if you want to unlock your profile and make posts and photos public? There is a way for this too. And, it will also take only a minute. Just the same way
At first go to the link then
you will see their blank box
just type how do locked profiles work?
then click here-
Click on the blue pill which says “Your profile is locked” under your profile name.
You will see a page like this:
Click on See more options.
Click on Unlock your profile.
Click Continue
Ok Done
You will see two options. Reverse settings & Keep settings the way they are now.
Reverse Settings will make your profile as it was before locking. Suppose you had some public posts, they became friends only when you locked, but when you will unlock your profile, the posts will be public.
Keep settings as they are now, simply means keeping the friends only settings for everything.
Mark Reverse Settings and click Unlock Profile.
And, boom, you have unlocked your profile
So, should you use this feature? It totally depends on you. If you don’t want to keep your public posts/photos public, you can simply lock your profile. Or, if you don’t want to hide everything from the public, you can unblock your profile too.
